BMW has introduced the refreshed 3 Series Long Wheelbase (LWB) in India for 2025, with prices starting at ₹62.60 lakh (ex-showroom). The model, previously known as the Gran Limousine, has been rebranded while retaining its extended dimensions and premium appeal.
Sleek Exterior with Subtle Updates
While the 2025 3 Series LWB retains its signature kidney grille and sporty bumper, it features a slightly revised LED headlight signature. The car maintains its 4,819mm length and 2,961mm wheelbase, ensuring best-in-class rear seat space.
New design elements include Aluminium Satinated exterior trims and a gloss black rear diffuser. BMW offers four metallic paint options—Arctic Race Blue, M Carbon Black, Mineral White, and Skyscraper Grey—while the outgoing Portimao Blue has been discontinued.
Premium Interior with Enhanced Finishes
The cabin of the updated 3 Series LWB now boasts higher-quality materials and an Aluminium Rhombicle Anthracite trim. A new flat-bottom steering wheel, redesigned air-con vents, and illuminated ambient lighting contour behind the front seats add to the luxury quotient.
Despite these refinements, the feature list remains unchanged, including:

For now, the 2025 3 Series LWB is available only in the 330Li M Sport petrol trim, while diesel variants are expected later. Under the hood, it retains the 2.0-litre twin-turbo petrol engine, producing 258hp and 400Nm of torque. Paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission driving the rear wheels, it accelerates from 0-100 km/h in just 6.2 seconds.
Price and Competition
With an ₹2 lakh price increase over its predecessor, the 2025 BMW 3 Series LWB is now positioned against rivals like the Mercedes-Benz C-Class (₹59.4-66.25 lakh) and Audi A4 (₹46.99-55.84 lakh). The model continues to be locally assembled at BMW’s Chennai plant.
