Bajaj Auto has introduced an update to the Pulsar NS160 for 2025, equipping it with multiple ABS modes. Although the company has yet to officially announce the launch, the updated model has already started arriving at dealerships.
What’s New in the 2025 Bajaj Pulsar NS160?
The highlight of this update is the addition of three ABS modes—Rain, Road, and Off-Road—borrowed from the Pulsar RS200. These modes adjust the anti-lock braking system’s intervention based on riding conditions. A dedicated Mode button has been added to allow riders to switch between them seamlessly.
However, apart from the braking update, the NS160 remains unchanged in terms of design. It continues to share its styling with the NS200, maintaining the same aggressive and sporty aesthetics. The last significant update for both models came in 2023, which included features like an upside-down front fork, a larger 300mm front disc, a gear position indicator, and a distance-to-empty readout.
Performance & Engine
The Pulsar NS160 is powered by a 160.3cc oil-cooled, single-cylinder engine, paired with a 5-speed gearbox. This setup delivers 17.2hp and 14.6Nm of peak torque, ensuring a balance of performance and efficiency.
Launch & Pricing
While the updated NS160 is already on showroom floors, Bajaj has yet to officially launch the model or reveal its pricing. It remains to be seen whether the new features will come with a price hike or if Bajaj will maintain its current price point.
