Volvo has officially introduced the EX30, its smallest and most affordable electric SUV in India, at an attractive introductory price of ₹39.99 lakh (ex-showroom). This price is valid for customers who pre-book the EV before October 19, 2025. Post that, the EX30 will retail at ₹41 lakh. Deliveries are scheduled to begin in the first week of November 2025, with local assembly taking place at Volvo’s Hosakote facility near Bengaluru.

At its current introductory price, the EX30 becomes the most affordable entry-level luxury EV in India. Even after the hike, it undercuts rivals like the Hyundai Ioniq 5, BMW iX1 LWB, BYD Sealion 7, Mini Countryman Electric, and the Mercedes-Benz EQA.

Range, Battery and Performance

For India, Volvo has chosen to offer the larger 69kWh lithium-ion battery pack as standard. This setup delivers a WLTP-certified range of up to 480 km on a single charge.

The SUV supports 11kW AC charging (0–100% in about 7 hours with the included wallbox charger). Volvo also offers an 8-year/1.6 lakh km warranty on the battery pack and a 3-year standard vehicle warranty, alongside a service package and roadside assistance. Customers also get a 5-year subscription to Volvo’s Connect Plus digital suite.
