VinFast VF6 and VF7 Electric SUVs: Bookings Now Open in India, Launch Expected Soon

Vietnamese EV manufacturer VinFast is officially entering the Indian electric vehicle market with two new models — the VF6 and VF7. First showcased at the 2025 Auto Expo, both electric SUVs are now available for pre-booking across India. While the prices are yet to be revealed, their official launch is expected in the coming months.

With the VF6 positioned in the compact EV SUV segment and the VF7 targeting premium electric SUV buyers, VinFast is aiming to cater to a wide range of consumers looking to go electric.

Retail Network Expansion: Dealerships Across Major States

To support the sales and after-sales service of the VF6 and VF7, VinFast is working with multiple dealer partners to set up a pan-India network. In the initial phase, dealerships will be launched in key metro areas such as Delhi, Gurugram, Noida, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, and Pune.

The rear houses a sculpted bumper, sporty roof spoiler, and wraparound LED tail lamps.

The cabin of the VF7 adopts a clean and minimalistic design, finished in a dual-tone theme with premium touches. The floating central touchscreen dominates the dashboard, while the silver detailing adds elegance.

Expected Pricing & Competition

• VinFast VF6 is expected to be priced from Rs 25 lakh (ex-showroom) and will take on compact electric SUVs such as the Hyundai Creta EV, MG ZS EV, Tata Curvv EV, Mahindra BE.06, and the upcoming Maruti eVX.

• VinFast VF7, with a likely starting price of Rs 50 lakh (ex-showroom), will rival premium electric SUVs like the Hyundai Ioniq 5, BYD Sealion 7, and the BMW iX1 (LWB).
