Updated Yamaha Ray ZR and Fascino launched

Yamaha Motor India has refreshed its 125cc hybrid scooter line-up for 2025, bringing performance tweaks, updated tech, and a splash of new colours to the Ray ZR 125 Fi Hybrid and Fascino 125 Fi Hybrid. Prices now start at ₹79,340 for the Ray ZR and ₹80,750 for the Fascino (ex-showroom, Delhi).

Stronger performance with Enhanced Power Assist

The key mechanical change for 2025 is Yamaha’s upgraded Enhanced Power Assist system. Paired with the brand’s Smart Motor Generator (SMG) and a high-performance battery, the setup promises quicker acceleration—particularly from a standstill, on inclines, or when riding with a pillion. While outright power figures remain unchanged, Yamaha says the new system makes the scooters more responsive and improves load-carrying ability. Both models continue to feature a silent start function and the Stop & Start system to aid fuel efficiency.

Fascino S gets a TFT dash with navigation

For riders seeking more tech, the top-spec Fascino S 125 Fi Hybrid now debuts a colour TFT instrument console. Through Yamaha’s Y-Connect smartphone app, the display offers turn-by-turn navigation powered by Google Maps, with intersection alerts, road names, and real-time directions shown directly on the dash.
