Bajaj has unveiled the refreshed Pulsar RS200, with a leaked video offering a sneak peek just days before its official debut. The updated model introduces two significant changes—a redesigned tail-light and a new color LCD instrument cluster, previously seen on the Pulsar NS400Z.
What’s New in the 2024 Pulsar RS200?
The latest RS200 gets a handful of upgrades while maintaining its familiar mechanical setup.
- Redesigned Tail-Light: The standout update is the revamped tail-light design. The new twin-pod setup integrates the indicators and tail lamps into a cohesive unit, inspired by high-end brands like BMW and Harley-Davidson.
- Color LCD Instrument Cluster: The RS200 now features a modern color LCD display borrowed from the NS400Z. This new cluster supports smartphone connectivity, enabling features like call alerts, notifications, and turn-by-turn navigation. There’s speculation that riding modes—available on other Pulsar models—might also be included in this update.
Additionally, new color options are expected to join the lineup. However, the engine and chassis remain unchanged, continuing the model’s proven formula.
A Timeless Favorite
Since its launch nearly a decade ago, the Pulsar RS200 has maintained a strong following, despite receiving only minor updates over the years. Most changes have been limited to emission compliance and new color schemes, yet the bike consistently delivers solid sales, a testament to its enduring appeal.
Pricing and Launch
The current RS200 is priced at ₹1.74 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), and the updated version is expected to carry a slight price bump.
With its subtle yet impactful updates, the 2024 Pulsar RS200 looks poised to enhance its legacy while meeting the demands of today’s riders.
