Ultraviolette, the Bengaluru-based startup, has unveiled the highly anticipated F77 Mach 2, an upgraded version of its electric sports bike line. This release comes approximately eighteen months after the successful launch of the original F77 in 2022.
Enhanced Features
The F77 Mach 2 builds upon the established F77 platform, introducing a range of innovative features and improvements. Notably, the ‘Performance Pack’ enhances safety and performance with advanced electronic systems:
- Optimized Braking System: The new ABS system includes a front-only mode, deactivating rear ABS while maintaining front ABS.
- Traction Control: Offering three levels (rain, city, track) for varying road conditions.
- Additional Features: Includes hill-hold assist, optional TPMS, charge limit setting, ‘find my F77’ feature, and updated display themes with integrated navigation.
Pricing and Availability
The Performance Pack is currently bundled with the introductory price for the first 1,000 customers. Following this, it will be offered as an optional upgrade. The F77 Mach 2 is priced at Rs. 2.99 lakh, with the Recon variant priced at Rs. 3.99 lakh. Bookings for both models will commence today across 15 cities.
Enhanced Range
The F77 Mach 2 and F77 Mach 2 Recon offer improved range capabilities, with IDC ranges of 211km and 323km, respectively, while maintaining the same performance standards.
Expansion Plans
Ultraviolette plans to expand its dealership network with 18 to 20 new locations across India to support the growing demand for its innovative electric motorcycles.
