With the April 1 deadline for OBD2B emission compliance fast approaching, TVS has upgraded the Jupiter 110 to meet the latest norms. The company has also confirmed that its entire two-wheeler lineup will be OBD2B-compliant by the end of the month.
As TVS’ best-selling scooter and the second most popular in India after the Honda Activa, the Jupiter 110 recently received a significant update. The latest model adopts design cues from its larger sibling, the Jupiter 125, and now features an Integrated Starter Generator (ISG). This system provides an electric assist during acceleration, a technology first introduced in Yamaha’s 125cc scooters and later seen in the FZ-S commuter bike.
TVS states that its OBD2B-compliant models have undergone major enhancements in sensor technology and onboard diagnostics to align with the stricter emission standards. The Jupiter 110 is available in four variants, with prices ranging from ₹76,691 to ₹89,791 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
Meanwhile, Honda has also made most of its commuter bikes and scooters compliant with the latest emission norms.
