TVS Apache Sales Hit Record 5.71 Lakh Units in FY26

TVS Motor Company has achieved a major milestone in FY26, with its popular TVS Apache range posting its highest-ever annual sales. The Apache lineup crossed the 5 lakh mark for the first time in its 21-year history, ending the fiscal year with 5.71 lakh units sold.

The strong performance reflects rising demand in India’s premium commuter and entry-performance motorcycle market, helping TVS strengthen its position in the highly competitive 150cc to 200cc motorcycle segment.

TVS Apache Registers 28% Growth in FY26

Based on industry wholesale figures, TVS Apache sales grew 28 percent year-on-year, rising from 4.46 lakh units in FY25 to 5.71 lakh units in FY26.

This growth also made Apache one of the biggest contributors to TVS motorcycle sales, accounting for nearly 40 percent of the company’s total motorcycle volumes during the year.

For TVS, this translated into another milestone: overall motorcycle sales touched a record 14.1 lakh units in FY26.

Apache Captures 38% Market Share in 150-200cc Segment

The Apache range emerged as the segment leader with an estimated 38 percent share of the 150cc-200cc category.

The segment itself saw renewed momentum in FY26, crossing 15 lakh annual units for the first time after a softer previous year. Consumer preference for feature-rich motorcycles with sporty styling and stronger performance played a key role in the recovery.

Stronger Growth in Second Half of FY26

Industry trends suggest the second half of the fiscal year delivered faster momentum for TVS Apache sales compared to the first six months.

Competitive pricing, festive demand, improved financing availability, and increased preference for premium commuter motorcycles likely supported the acceleration.
