Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKML), the Indian arm of Toyota, has temporarily stopped taking bookings for its top-end Innova Hycross models due to supply chain issues. The Innova Hycross was introduced in November 2022 and has been well-received by customers who desire the spaciousness of an MPV and the proportions of an SUV. The vehicle comes in both gasoline and self-charging strong hybrid electric variants, making it suitable for various occasions.
TKML expressed gratitude to its customers for the enthusiastic response to the Innova Hycross across all variants within a few months of its release. However, due to ongoing supply chain challenges, the company has regretfully announced the suspension of bookings for the top-end grades of Innova Hycross, specifically the ZX and ZX (O) models, beginning on April 8, 2023.
The statement clarified that bookings for other Innova Hycross grades, including both the hybrid and gasoline variants, will continue as usual. TKML also assured customers that they are doing everything possible to resume bookings for the halted models as soon as possible.
