Toyota C-HR+ EV Debuts with 343hp, 600km Range, and Fast Charging

Toyota C-HR+ EV Debuts

Toyota has officially unveiled the all-electric C-HR+ SUV, expanding its EV lineup alongside the bZ4X and the recently introduced Urban Cruiser EV. Expected to hit select European markets by late 2025, the C-HR+ EV marks another step in Toyota’s electrification strategy, with the brand planning to launch six EVs globally by 2026.

Battery, Range & Performance

Built on the e-TNGA platform, the Toyota C-HR+ offers two battery pack options:

With up to 600km WLTP-certified range, the SUV supports 150kW DC fast charging and comes standard with an 11kW AC charger, while higher variants offer 22kW AC charging.

Design & Dimensions

Toyota has retained key elements from its 2022 concept, including the signature ‘Hammerhead’ front fascia, a coupe-like raked roofline, and wraparound LED taillights. However, the front no longer features the full-width LED light bar.

At 4,520mm in length, the C-HR+ sits above the Urban Cruiser EV in Toyota’s electric lineup, with a 2,750mm wheelbase enhancing cabin space.

Interior & Technology

Inside, the C-HR+ balances modern tech with practicality, featuring a 14-inch touchscreen, two wireless smartphone chargers, rear AC controls, ambient lighting, and a panoramic sunroof. Unlike some EVs that go all-in on touch controls, Toyota has kept physical buttons for key functions.

Safety & Driver Assistance

Toyota offers ADAS as standard, including blind-spot monitoring and adaptive high-beam headlights. Higher trims get park assist and 360-degree panoramic view monitoring for added convenience.

With its bold styling, high-tech cabin, and strong performance, the Toyota C-HR+ EV is set to be a compelling electric SUV when it arrives later this year.
