Tata Safari Red Dark Edition Launched

Tata Safari Red Dark Edition Launched

Tata Motors has put the Safari Red Dark Edition on sale in India. It starts at Rs 22.61 lakh (ex-showroom). Based on the Dark Edition that was already out, it comes in two different versions and has ADAS features for the first time. For a token amount of Rs 30,000, interested customers can now book the SUV at the nearest authorised Tata Motors dealership.

The Safari looks better from the outside thanks to its Oberon Black colour and splashes of red on the front grille and the brake callipers. It has the same 18-inch Charcoal Black alloy wheels and red accents on the #Dark badge on the fenders.

The cabin gets a lot of changes, but the Carnelian Red leatherette upholstery with a quilting pattern and #Dark motifs on the headrests is the most noticeable one. The Safari Red Dark Edition now has a 10.25-inch touchscreen for entertainment and a 7-inch digital display for the driver.

The set of ADAS features, which is a first for Tata cars, is another thing that makes this Safari edition stand out. Active safety tech includes a blind-spot monitor with a 360-degree camera, rear cross-traffic alert, forward and rear collision warnings with automatic braking, lane departure warning, and traffic sign recognition.

Under the long hood of the Safari Red Dark, the same 2.0-liter diesel engine keeps it going. The motor meets the requirements of BS6 Phase 2 and has 168bhp and 350Nm of torque. There is a six-speed manual transmission and a six-speed automatic transmission.
