Mumbai, September 24, 2024: Tata Motors, India’s leading car and SUV manufacturer, has launched two new variants of its popular Nexon SUV: the Nexon iCNG, the country’s first turbocharged CNG vehicle, and an upgraded Nexon.ev with a 45 kWh battery pack. These additions cement Nexon’s status as India’s first and only SUV available in four distinct powertrains: petrol, diesel, CNG, and electric.

Nexon iCNG – India’s First Turbocharged CNG SUV
The Nexon iCNG debuts as India’s first turbocharged CNG vehicle, powered by a 1.2L turbo engine that delivers 100 PS of power and 170 Nm of torque. Designed for both performance and practicality, it boasts an innovative twin-cylinder technology that offers 321 liters of boot space, making it the most spacious CNG SUV in its segment.
In addition to its power and practicality, the Nexon iCNG is packed with premium features, including a panoramic sunroof, ventilated leatherette seats, and a 10.25-inch Harman infotainment screen, complemented by a fully digital instrument cluster. It also supports direct CNG starts and automatic petrol-CNG switching with a single ECU.
