Design and Dimensions
Visually, the Harrier EV closely resembles the updated ICE-powered Harrier introduced in 2023 but incorporates electric-specific touches. It features a closed-off front grille, a redesigned bumper with line-themed detailing, and new 19-inch aero-optimized alloy wheels. The ‘Harrier.EV’ badge on the tailgate and EV badging on the doors distinguish it further.
Dimensionally, the EV version is slightly larger – 2mm longer, 210mm wider, and 22mm taller, while the wheelbase remains unchanged at 2,741mm.
Stealth Edition and Colour Options
At launch, Tata will offer the Harrier EV in four colour choices:
-
Empowered Oxide
-
Nainital Nocturne
-
Pristine White
-
Pure Grey
A special Stealth Edition will also be available, featuring blacked-out exterior and interior elements, echoing Tata’s signature Dark Edition theme.

Four-spoke illuminated steering wheel

Panoramic sunroof

Additionally, it features Tata’s DrivePay system – enabling FASTag and EV charger payments without a phone – and Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) and Vehicle-to-Vehicle (V2V) capabilities.
Advanced Driver Assistance and Safety
The Harrier EV is equipped with Level 2 ADAS, specially calibrated for Indian roads. A standout feature is the 540-degree camera, capable of stitching real-time feeds from all angles, which helps avoid curbs during tight maneuvers. It also comes with a built-in dashcam, adding another layer of security.
Battery, Powertrain, and Range
Built on an upgraded version of Tata’s Acti.ev architecture (seen in Punch EV and Curvv EV), the Harrier EV offers two battery configurations:
-
65kWh RWD: Single motor, 238hp
-
75kWh AWD: Dual motors, combined output of 313hp and 504Nm
The top variant offers a range of up to 627km (MIDC). Under Tata’s real-world C75 testing, it delivers 480–505km, making it the longest-range Tata EV to date.
Charging options include:
-
7.2kW AC home charger: 10–100% in 10.7 hours
-
120kW DC fast charger: 20–80% in 25 minutes
