Tata Avinya X Concept Unveiled at Auto Expo 2025: A Bold Vision for Premium EVs

Tata Avinya X Concept Unveiled at Auto Expo 2025

Tata Motors has unveiled the striking Avinya X concept at the Auto Expo 2025, setting the stage for what could be the first model in a new line of premium electric vehicles (EVs). Departing significantly from the 2022 wagon-like concept, the Avinya X adopts a sleek coupe-SUV design that combines futuristic aesthetics with a commanding road presence. The production model is expected to hit the market in 2026.

The Avinya X concept features bold design elements that highlight its innwqovative approach. It stands tall with sharply sloped front and rear windshields, while the smooth yet muscular body exudes a sophisticated charm. One of the standout design cues is the illuminated, extended ‘T’ logo at both the front and rear, doubling as a distinctive LED light signature. The clean, minimalistic fascia is enhanced by gloss-black accents on the bumpers, while the edges incorporate slim Matrix LED daytime running lights for improved nighttime visibility.

From the side, the concept’s coupe-like silhouette is complemented by a contrasting finish on the C-pillars and stylish dual-tone alloy wheels. Active aerodynamic features add to its efficiency and futuristic appeal.

Futuristic and Sustainable Interior
Inside, the Avinya X blends innovation with sustainability. The minimalist cabin showcases a lounge-like four-seater configuration, underlining a focus on luxury and comfort. Sustainable materials have been used extensively to align with eco-friendly principles.

Key interior highlights include a modern two-spoke steering wheel with a central boss, a floating infotainment display reminiscent of the Range Rover, and a slim dashboard-wide screen serving as the instrument cluster. The dual-tone dashboard design, concealed air vents, and panoramic sunroof enhance the sense of space and refinement.

Advanced Features and Platform Details
The production model is expected to offer a comprehensive feature set, including vehicle-to-load (V2L) and vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) capabilities, wireless charging, multi-zone climate control, a 360-degree camera, and advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS).

Underpinning the Avinya X is Jaguar Land Rover’s EMA platform, designed for scalability and efficiency. While specific technical details are limited, Tata Motors has hinted at large battery packs offering a range of at least 500 km, paired with fast-charging technology.

The Avinya X concept not only showcases Tata Motors’ ambition to lead in the premium EV space but also sets the tone for an electrified future with cutting-edge design, sustainable materials, and innovative technology.
