Suzuki Avenis Standard Variant Launched at ₹91,400 with OBD-2B Compliance

Suzuki Avenis Standard Variant Launched

Suzuki has rolled out the updated Standard variant of the Avenis scooter at a price of ₹91,400 (ex-showroom), making it the most affordable option in the Avenis lineup. The major highlight of this update is compliance with the stricter OBD-2B emission norms, aligning it with the latest regulatory standards.

Mechanically, the scooter remains unchanged and continues to be powered by a 124cc engine, delivering 8.7hp and 10Nm of torque. This engine setup has proven reliable and efficient in previous models.

This compliance update had already been implemented on the Avenis’ higher variants, including the Special Edition, but the Standard variant was yet to receive it—until now.

With this launch, the Standard variant undercuts the next variant by ₹1,800, offering a value-focused alternative without compromising on key essentials. It comes equipped with LED headlamps and taillamps, as well as a digital instrument console, though it does not feature Bluetooth connectivity.

Buyers can choose from four dual-tone colour schemes:

The Avenis Standard continues to appeal to budget-conscious riders looking for a sporty and feature-rich 125cc scooter that now meets the latest emission standards.
