Skoda has launched the Monte Carlo edition of its Slavia sedan for the first time, with prices starting at Rs 15.79 lakh. This variant expands the Monte Carlo lineup that already includes the Rapid sedan and the Kushaq midsize SUV. Additionally, Skoda has introduced a Sportline trim to the Slavia range. As a special launch offer, the first 5,000 bookings for the Monte Carlo and Sportline trims will receive benefits worth Rs 30,000, valid until September 6.
Pricing and Features of the Slavia Monte Carlo
The Monte Carlo variant is positioned just below the top-spec Prestige variant, priced Rs 20,000 less. It comes with distinctive black styling elements, such as the grille, badges, door handles, side skirts, rear spoiler, bumpers, and 16-inch alloy wheels. Available in Tornado Red and Candy White, the Monte Carlo edition features a sporty red and black interior theme, including a red-themed digital instrument cluster and aluminum pedals.
The Monte Carlo trim offers three powertrain options: a 115hp, 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine available with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission, and a 150hp, 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
Skoda Slavia Monte Carlo vs. Prestige: Key Differences
Based on the top-spec Prestige trim, the Monte Carlo retains features like a powered sunroof, ORVMs, an 8-speaker audio system with a 380W subwoofer, front ventilated seats, and an 8-inch fully digital instrument cluster. What sets it apart are the Monte Carlo-specific black accents and exclusive styling elements.
Skoda Slavia Sportline: Pricing and Highlights
The new Sportline variant is based on the mid-spec Signature trim, incorporating a similar black finish on its 16-inch alloys and other exterior elements. Compared to the Signature, the Sportline adds features like aluminum pedals, grey fabric upholstery, and a powered sunroof. Priced approximately Rs 15,000 higher than the Signature variant, the Sportline is also available with all three powertrain options.
