Skoda Enyaq Facelift Teased with New Design Language

Skoda Enyaq Facelift Teased with New Design Language

Skoda has unveiled the first exterior sketches of the updated Enyaq and Enyaq Coupe EVs, highlighting their adoption of the brand’s new “Modern Solid” design philosophy. This design approach, initially showcased through the 2022 Vision 7S concept, marks a significant departure from the styling of the pre-facelift Enyaq, which debuted in 2020. Notably, the Enyaq was Skoda’s inaugural fully electric vehicle and has since become one of Europe’s top-selling BEVs in 2024.

Revamped Design Features

The refreshed Enyaq incorporates several stylistic updates seen on newer Skoda models, such as the Elroq. Most prominently, it replaces the traditional winged arrow logo with a sleek lettermark emblem and features the brand’s “Tech-Deck” front fascia. This design integrates a slimmer grille that seamlessly connects with the LED daytime running lights, while the main headlight units sit directly beneath the DRLs, flanked by sculpted air intakes in the bumper.

The sketches also reveal silver panels along the side skirts and rear bumper, though these are expected to be replaced by black plastic cladding in the production model. The silhouette hints at bold, sharp body lines, a black roof, and striking dark chrome accents. The Enyaq Coupe’s design appears more sedan-like than SUV-inspired, featuring large alloy wheels, a clean profile devoid of door handles, a sharp rear tear-off edge, and Skoda’s signature C-shaped taillights.

India Plans for the Skoda Enyaq

The facelifted Enyaq and its Coupe variant are set to make their global debut in 2025. Meanwhile, the pre-facelift Enyaq iV is expected to be showcased at the 2025 Bharat Mobility Global Expo (BMGE) in January. Skoda had previously displayed the Enyaq iV at the 2024 edition of the same event, hinting at its upcoming launch in India.

Spy shots of the Enyaq being tested in India suggest the arrival of the top-spec 80x variant. This version features a 77kWh (net) battery, offering a WLTP range of up to 513 km. It supports up to 125kW DC fast charging and has a dual-motor setup producing 265hp, enabling a 0-100 kph sprint in just 6.9 seconds. More details about the India-bound Enyaq will be revealed at BMGE 2025.
