Royal Enfield to Launch Guerrilla 450 in Barcelona on July 17

Royal Enfield is gearing up for the official launch of the Guerrilla 450 on July 17 in Barcelona, as announced by Siddhartha Lal, Managing Director, and Govindarajan Balakrishnan, CEO. The Guerrilla 450 is expected to feature simpler hardware compared to its adventure-focused sibling, the Himalayan 450, making it a more affordable option.

Spy shots have already provided a glimpse of the Guerrilla 450’s design and features. Key highlights include a single-pod instrument console, a round LED headlight, a large fuel tank, and a one-piece seat. The single-pod console might be similar to the TFT display found on the Himalayan, but this remains to be confirmed. The fuel tank and tail sections resemble those of the Himalayan 450, indicating a shared design language. Unlike the Himalayan’s spoked wheels and tube tires, the Guerrilla 450 will sport alloy wheels and tubeless tires. Additionally, it will use a gaitered telescopic fork instead of the USD fork seen on the Himalayan.

The Guerrilla 450 will be powered by the same 452cc single-cylinder engine as the Himalayan, known as the Sherpa 450 engine. While the exact tuning for the Guerrilla 450 hasn’t been disclosed, in the Himalayan, this engine produces 40hp and 40Nm of torque, paired with a 6-speed gearbox. More details will likely emerge as we get closer to the launch date, so stay tuned for further updates on this exciting new model from Royal Enfield.
