Royal Enfield is set to unveil the Goan Classic 350 on November 23, marking the fifth model in its J-series lineup, following the Meteor, Classic, Hunter, and Bullet. This new addition is a distinctive, bobber-inspired take on the Classic 350, designed to offer a fresh, stylish twist while maintaining the core mechanics and structure of its predecessor.
What to Expect from the Goan Classic 350
The Goan Classic 350 will be powered by the familiar 349cc single-cylinder engine found across Royal Enfield’s 350cc range, expected to deliver around 20 horsepower and 27Nm of torque. Its chassis is likely to mirror the Classic 350, with notable changes focused on aesthetics, paint finishes, and ergonomics.
Unlike its closest competitors, such as the Jawa 42 Bobber and Perak from Classic Legends, the Goan Classic 350 will accommodate a pillion passenger. This setup is expected to follow a design similar to the pillion frame used on Royal Enfield’s Shotgun and Classic 650 Twin, where a hinged frame extends from the solo rider’s seat, providing added versatility for two-up riding.
Unique Styling and Features
Aimed at style-conscious riders, the Goan Classic 350 will likely feature a range of vibrant, ornate color options. Spy shots hint at retro-inspired elements, including whitewall tires, adding a vintage charm not commonly seen on modern motorcycles. Most test models have been spotted with wire-spoke wheels, but Royal Enfield may also offer alloy wheels as an option.
Expected Pricing and Launch Event
With the current Royal Enfield Classic 350 priced between Rs 1.93 lakh and Rs 2.30 lakh, the Goan Classic 350 is expected to fall within a similar range, with top variants potentially exceeding Rs 2.30 lakh. The official unveiling will take place at Motoverse, Royal Enfield’s annual festival, where more details and pricing will be announced for this highly anticipated addition to the lineup.
