MG Motor has launched its latest flagship offering, the MG M9 electric luxury MPV, in India at a starting price of Rs 69.90 lakh (ex-showroom). The M9 marks a significant milestone as India’s first all-electric luxury MPV, setting new benchmarks in the premium EV space. Available exclusively through MG’s high-end MG Select retail outlets, the M9 is offered in a single, fully loaded trim.
MG M9: Size, Space, and Segment Positioning
With its imposing dimensions and bold design language, the MG M9 is currently the largest luxury MPV on sale in India. It features a spacious 6-seater configuration with second-row captain’s chairs aimed at offering a lounge-like experience. The M9 finds its place between the Kia Carnival (Rs 63.91 lakh) and Toyota Vellfire (Rs 1.22–1.32 crore) in terms of pricing, delivering premium electric mobility at a more accessible price than its Japanese rival.

The MG M9’s exterior design stands out with sharp lines, connected LED headlamps and tail-lamps, a generous application of chrome accents, and stylish 19-inch alloy wheels. Despite its MPV proportions, the M9’s futuristic design elements give it a distinctive road presence.
Inside, the cabin is finished in cognac brown leather and suede, with a minimalist dashboard layout. Highlights include a 12.23-inch touchscreen infotainment system, 7-inch digital driver’s display, a two-spoke steering wheel, and a floating centre console.
