MG Cyberster to Launch in January 2025: Colours and Key Details Revealed

MG Cyberster to Launch in January 2025

The MG Cyberster, an all-electric sports car, is gearing up for its official India debut in January 2025. Already available in international markets, this futuristic EV will mark MG India’s entry into the premium segment through its exclusive Select showrooms. Following earlier announcements on battery specifications and range, MG has now teased the colour options for the Indian market.

Colour Options for the MG Cyberster

The Cyberster will be offered in four colours in India: red, grey, white, and yellow. These choices mirror those available in markets like Malaysia, though the official names for these colours in India will be announced soon.

In Europe, MG provides a wider range with six colour options, but the limited palette in India is likely due to the car being imported as a Completely Built Unit (CBU).

Design Inspired by the Classic MG B Roadster

The Cyberster’s design pays homage to the iconic MG B Roadster from the 1960s, featuring a long bonnet, soft-top roof, and the signature octagon-shaped MG badge. Aerodynamic enhancements like a closed front grille and upward-sweeping air intakes lend a modern and efficient edge to its retro-inspired aesthetics.

A standout feature of the Cyberster is its scissor doors, a first for an EV in India, adding a dramatic flair to its sporty profile. The car is expected to come with 19- and 20-inch alloy wheels, while the rear will feature arrow-shaped LED taillights connected by an illuminated light bar.

MG’s Showcase at Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025

MG has confirmed its participation in the 2025 Bharat Mobility Global Expo, where the Cyberster will take center stage alongside the upcoming Mifa 9 MPV.

The MG Cyberster promises to be a game-changer for electric sports cars in India, combining cutting-edge technology with timeless design influences. Stay tuned for more updates as the launch date approaches.
