MG, a British automotive company, has finally launched its much-awaited electric vehicle (EV), the Comet EV, in India. The company had already revealed that the starting price of the vehicle is Rs 7.98 lakh (ex-showroom). The car is available in three variants – Pace, Play, and Plush – with prices going all the way up to Rs 9.98 lakh (ex-showroom). However, this pricing is valid only for the first 5,000 bookings.

The MG Comet EV can be purchased from May 15, 12 noon onwards, via both offline and online channels. Moreover, MG has promised that deliveries of the vehicle will start from May 22 in a phased manner. The pre-registrations have already begun, and interested customers can book their vehicle online or at any of the company’s dealerships.
