Matter Aera EV Completes 1,868km Gujarat Journey in Aerathon Bharat Initiative

Matter has achieved a significant milestone by completing a 1,868km expedition across Gujarat with its Aera electric two-wheeler. This journey marks the inaugural leg of the Aerathon Bharat initiative, designed to promote sustainable mobility and showcase the vehicle’s capabilities. The company plans to expand this initiative with similar journeys across other states in India.

Highlights of the Aerathon Bharat Gujarat Leg

The journey commenced at the Statue of Unity and concluded in Ahmedabad, traversing the state’s diverse landscapes and cultural landmarks. The expedition was an opportunity to spotlight Gujarat’s natural beauty, heritage, and commitment to eco-friendly transportation.

Matter’s Aera electric two-wheeler, featuring a 125km range and a 4-speed gearbox, successfully completed the route. The journey included visits to iconic locations such as Modhera, Patan, Dwarka, Porbandar, Somnath, Diu, Bhavnagar, and Ahmedabad. The team also ventured to offbeat destinations, including the Indo-Pak border at Nadabet, the lush Gir forests, and the coastal union territory of Diu.

Future Plans and Sustainability Efforts

Matter aims to expand the Aerathon Bharat into a nationwide campaign, covering 25,000km across 25 states. As a gesture of environmental commitment, the company announced it would plant 1,868 trees in the Sundarbans to honor the distance covered during the Gujarat leg.

Through initiatives like these, Matter seeks to reinforce its vision for sustainable mobility and inspire broader adoption of electric vehicles across India.
