Maruti Suzuki Fronx From Nexa Launched at Rs 7.47 lakh

Maruti Suzuki Fronx From Nexa launched at Rs 7.47 lakh

Maruti Suzuki has released the Fronx with a starting price of Rs 7.47 lakh for the Sigma trim and a top price of Rs 13.14 lakh for the Alpha turbo trim. The coupe crossover based on the Baleno made its appearance at the Auto Expo in January, and people have already put down a token deposit of Rs 11,000 to reserve one. The base price of the Fronx is Rs 86,000 more than the base price of the Baleno. However, the top end of the Fronx is much more expensive because it has a turbo-petrol engine.

Maruti Suzuki Fronx engines and different kinds

The new Fronx comes in five trims (Sigma, Delta, Delta+, Zeta, and Alpha) and seven colors (Arctic White, Earthern Brown, Opulent Red, Splendid Silver, Bluish Black, Celestial Blue, and Grandeur Grey). There are also Earthern Brown, Opulent Red, and Splendid Silver colors for two-tone choices.

When it comes to the Fronx’s engine, the 1.0-liter Boosterjet turbo-petrol engine is back. This engine was first used in the 2017 Baleno RS, but it was taken off the market because of low demand and the switch to BS6. The Boosterjet turbo-petrol engine makes 100hp and 147Nm and can be paired with either a 5-speed manual transmission or a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission. This means that the Fronx is the only Maruti Suzuki on the market right now that can be bought with a turbo-petrol engine.

Variant 1.2 Petrol MT 1.2 Petrol AMT 1.0 Turbo MT 1.0 Turbo AT
Sigma Rs 7.47 lakh
Delta Rs 8.33 lakh Rs 8.88 lakh
Delta+ Rs 8.73 lakh Rs 9.28 lakh Rs 9.73 lakh
Zeta Rs 10.56 lakh Rs 12.06 lakh
Alpha Rs 11.48 lakh Rs 12.98 lakh
Alpha DT Rs 11.64 lakh Rs 13.14 lakh

A 1.2-liter, 90-horsepower, naturally aspirated gasoline engine is also available for Maruti cars. This engine works with either a 5-speed manual transmission or a 5-speed automatic (AMT) transmission. Maruti Suzuki Fronx exterior design and measurements

Some parts of the Fronx’s form, like its straight nose and split headlamp, remind me of Maruti Suzuki’s best SUV, the Grand Vitara. The front and back bumpers are also bigger and have fake skid plates and chrome. The 17-inch multi-spoke metal wheels on the Fronx are different from those on any other Maruti car.

Some parts of the Fronx’s design come from the Baleno hatchback, such as the rising waistline with a noticeable hump over the back wheels and the sloping roofline. The Fronx is 3,995mm long, 1,550mm high, and 1,765mm wide, which is the same as the Baleno.

Maruti Suzuki Fronx interior style and equipment

On the inside, the Fronx looks a lot like the Baleno hatchback. The main feature is a big, freestanding 9-inch touchscreen. The colors and textures are different from the Baleno, though. The hatchback seats are blue and black, but the small SUV’s seats are brown and black. It also has a dashboard with multiple levels, and Maruti has kept real controls for the HVAC system.

The Fronx is the best. Alpha trim comes with a leather-wrapped steering wheel, a 360-degree camera, a heads-up display, wireless charging, connected car technology, and 6 airbags. Click here to find out more about what each trim has to offer.
