Bookings for the Mahindra XUV 3XO were opened on May 15, and the company achieved a remarkable milestone by garnering 50,000 bookings within just 24 hours. The company is set to commence deliveries of the XUV 3XO on May 26, indicating a swift response from consumers.
Initial Production and Market Response
With over 10,000 units of the XUV 3XO already manufactured, Mahindra appears well-prepared to meet the burgeoning demand for its latest offering. While specifics regarding the popularity of different variants and engine configurations remain undisclosed, the response to the compact SUV has been positive.
Impressive Features and Competition
Launched on April 29, the Mahindra XUV 3XO enters a competitive market, challenging the likes of Tata Nexon, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Toyota Taisor, and Maruti’s Brezza and Fronx. Boasting several best-in-segment features such as dual-zone climate control, Level 2 ADAS tech, and a panoramic sunroof, the XUV 3XO aims to carve a niche for itself. Additionally, it offers three engine options: a 111hp, 1.2-litre turbo-petrol; a 131hp, 1.2-litre direct injection turbo-petrol; and a 117hp, 1.5-litre diesel. Transmission options vary across the models, with the 111hp and 131hp petrol variants featuring 6-speed manual and 6-speed torque converter options, while the 117hp diesel model offers manual and 6-speed AMT variants.
