Mahindra Launches Bold Edition for Bolero and Bolero Neo, Prices Start at ₹10.02 Lakh

Mahindra Launches Bold Edition for Bolero and Bolero Neo

Mahindra has introduced a new Bold Edition accessory pack for its popular Bolero and Bolero Neo SUVs. Offered as a dealer-level upgrade, this edition adds several cosmetic enhancements without any mechanical changes. The price for this edition starts at ₹10.02 lakh (ex-showroom) and goes up to ₹12.58 lakh, depending on the variant and model.

What’s New in the Bold Edition?

Mahindra Bolero Bold Edition

The Bold Edition for the standard Bolero includes several blacked-out exterior elements such as:

Inside the cabin, the updates include:

These cosmetic changes are available across all three Bolero variants — B4, B6, and B6 Optional. However, the powertrain remains unchanged, with the SUV continuing to use the 76hp, 1.5-litre diesel engine mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox.

Prices (ex-showroom, India):

The Bold Edition pack for the Bolero costs ₹20,500.

Mahindra Bolero Neo Bold Edition

The Bolero Neo also receives the Bold Edition treatment, with more comprehensive updates including:

Interior enhancements are similar to the Bolero, featuring all-black upholstery, neck cushions, and new mats.

Like the standard Neo, the Bold Edition variants continue with the same mechanical setup — a 100hp, 1.5-litre diesel engine paired with a manual transmission.

Prices (ex-showroom, India):

This version of the accessory pack is priced at ₹40,000.

Sales Performance and Market Strategy

Sales figures for the Bolero lineup have been under pressure recently. Mahindra dispatched 8,031 units in March 2025 — a 22.38% drop compared to March 2024. April 2025 saw 8,360 units sold, down 12% from the previous year’s 9,537 units. With the Bold Edition now launched, Mahindra is aiming to reinvigorate customer interest and potentially reverse the recent dip in sales.
