Mahindra has officially confirmed a price revision across its passenger vehicle lineup, with an increase of up to 2.5 percent set to take effect from Monday, April 6, 2026. The price adjustment will apply to nearly all models in the brand’s portfolio, citing rising input costs and broader cost escalations as the primary reasons behind the move.
XUV 7XO Gets Temporary Price Protection
In a notable exception, the recently launched Mahindra XUV 7XO will not be subject to the immediate price hike. The SUV will continue to be offered at its current price range of Rs 13.66 lakh to Rs 25.07 lakh (ex-showroom) for the first 40,000 bookings. This limited-period price protection is part of Mahindra’s strategy to boost early adoption of the new model.
However, once the initial booking threshold is reached, prices of the XUV 7XO will be revised in line with the rest of the lineup.
Reason Behind the Price Increase
Mahindra has attributed the upcoming hike to a “combination of cost escalations,” which typically includes rising raw material prices, increased logistics expenses, and higher operational costs. Like many automakers, the company has been facing sustained pressure on margins, prompting this adjustment.
