Mahindra achieved a historic milestone in October 2024, recording its highest-ever monthly SUV sales with a remarkable 54,504 units sold. This represents a notable increase from the 51,062 units sold in September, signaling robust demand for Mahindra’s SUV lineup. Year-to-date, the company has reached cumulative SUV sales of 3,14,714 units, marking a substantial 22% growth compared to the same period last year.
The company’s October sales surge was bolstered by heightened demand across its SUV models, particularly during the festive season. The newly launched Thar Roxx has emerged as a standout, with bookings surpassing 1.76 lakh units within just an hour of opening. Mahindra has begun deliveries for the Thar Roxx in phases, with some customers receiving delivery estimates extending to May 2026 due to high demand.
Mahindra’s popular XUV 3XO has also contributed to the brand’s strong performance, maintaining monthly sales in the range of 9,000-10,000 units. Competing with rivals like the Kia Sonet and Hyundai Venue, the XUV 3XO has a waiting period of up to six months for certain variants.
On the export front, Mahindra shipped 3,506 units in October, reflecting a robust 89% growth over last year’s figures. This achievement underscores Mahindra’s expanding presence both domestically and internationally, driven by sustained consumer interest in its diverse SUV offerings.
