Jeep India has brought back the Meridian Limited (O) AT 4×4 variant, priced at ₹36.79 lakh. This variant was part of the original lineup at launch but was later discontinued following a facelift late last year. Bookings for the revived model are now open at dealerships nationwide.
Pricing and Features
The Limited (O) AT 4×4 variant is positioned ₹2.3 lakh higher than the 4×2 AT version, which costs ₹34.49 lakh, and ₹1.7 lakh lower than the top-tier Overland 4×4 priced at ₹38.49 lakh. While it retains most features of the Overland variant, including terrain modes and hill-descent control, it misses out on advanced Level 2 ADAS features, premium leatherette upholstery, and a few other enhancements.
Performance and Specifications
Under the hood, the Limited (O) AT 4×4 is equipped with the same 170hp, 2.0-litre diesel engine paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission. In its 4×2 configuration, this trim also offers a 6-speed manual gearbox as an alternative.
New Accessory Pack
Jeep India has also launched an accessory pack for the Meridian, adding stylish updates like bonnet and side decals, chrome headlight surrounds, and customizable ambient lighting, enhancing the SUV’s exterior and interior appeal.
Competition and Pricing Range
The Jeep Meridian lineup is priced between ₹24.99 lakh for the base Longitude variant and ₹38.49 lakh for the fully loaded Overland 4×4. Positioned in the premium SUV segment, the Meridian competes with models like the Skoda Kodiaq, Volkswagen Tiguan, and Hyundai Tucson.
