Honda has introduced the NX200 in India at ₹1.68 lakh, essentially a rebadged version of the CB200X. The name change aligns with Honda’s latest branding strategy, and the bike now complies with updated emission norms while gaining a few notable upgrades.
Mechanically, the NX200 remains identical to the CB200X, featuring the same 184.4cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled, two-valve engine. Now OBD2B compliant, it delivers 17hp and 15.7Nm of torque—marginally lower by 0.4Nm compared to its predecessor. The engine is paired with a 5-speed gearbox and benefits from a slip-and-assist clutch for smoother shifts.
The design remains largely unchanged, retaining its all-LED lighting setup. However, Honda has equipped the NX200 with a new 4.2-inch TFT display, complete with Bluetooth connectivity—similar to the unit seen on the latest Activa. Another key addition is a traction control system, enhancing rider safety.
Available in red, blue, and black, the NX200 comes at a premium of ₹17,000 over the CB200X. While the updates are subtle, the new features and compliance with stricter norms make it a more refined offering.
