Hero MotoCorp has finally brought out the XPulse 200T 4V in India, after a long wait. The updated Hero commuter has changed how it works and how it looks. It also has a small price increase. Let’s give it a look.

The new two-tone paint schemes give the Hero XPulse 200T a little bit more of a sporty look. The XPulse 200T 4V looks the same from the side, but it has gaitered front forks, a small fly screen above the LED headlight, and a head casing that is painted the same color as the body. The rear rack has been replaced by a grab rail made of tubing. The alloy design scooped seat, and side panels have all stayed the same.

The most important change is a 200cc single-cylinder oil-cooled engine that is a little bit more powerful. It now has 4 valves instead of 2, and it makes 18.83 bhp and 17.3 Nm instead of 17.83 bhp and 16.15 Nm before. The five-speed transmission stays the same.

The XPulse 200T 4V has an LED headlight, an LCD instrument console that can connect to a smartphone for call alerts and turn-by-turn directions, a USB charging port, and a side stand sensor. It still has telescopic front forks, a rear mono-shock, a single front disc brake, and a single disc brake on the back. It also still has alloy wheels.

The XPulse 200T 4V from Hero costs Rs 1,25,726. (ex-showroom Mumbai). This means that it costs Rs 1,036 more than the 2V model. Hero will offer the bike in three colors: Sports Red, Matt Funk Lime Yellow, and Matt Shield Gold.
