Ducati XDiavel V4 Teased for India Ahead of Launch: Cruiser-Style V4 Power Incoming

Ducati XDiavel V4 Teased for India Ahead of Launch

Ducati India has officially teased the XDiavel V4 on its social media platforms, confirming that the Italian brand’s power cruiser is headed to the Indian market. Unveiled globally earlier this year, the XDiavel V4 sits alongside the Diavel V4 but takes a more relaxed, cruiser-oriented approach without compromising on performance.

Ducati XDiavel V4: What Sets It Apart

While the XDiavel V4 shares its mechanical core with the Diavel V4, Ducati has reworked the ergonomics and styling to appeal to riders who prefer a laid-back riding posture.

Key highlights:

Same V4 Muscle, Cruiser Attitude

At its heart, the XDiavel V4 uses Ducati’s formidable 1,158cc V4 Granturismo engine, identical to the one found in the Diavel V4.

Engine and performance:

This marks a notable shift from the older XDiavel 1260, which used a belt drive with its V-twin engine. Despite its cruiser positioning, performance remains very much superbike-derived.

Braking hardware, suspension components and the overall electronics package are also carried over from the Diavel V4, ensuring top-tier dynamics.

Design and Comfort Enhancements

Visually, the XDiavel V4 adopts a smoother, more flowing design language compared to the sharper, more aggressive Diavel V4. Key differences include:

For riders who prefer a sportier stance, Ducati will offer mid-mounted footpegs as an optional accessory.

Electronics and Technology

The XDiavel V4 benefits from Ducati’s latest electronics suite, including multiple riding modes, traction control and cornering ABS. A major highlight is the new 6.9-inch TFT dashboard, which elevates the premium feel and improves readability compared to earlier Diavel models.

India Launch and Expected Price

Bookings for the Ducati XDiavel V4 have already opened in India. Given its positioning as a more premium and lifestyle-focused alternative, it is expected to be priced above the Diavel V4, which currently retails at Rs 29.08 lakh (ex-showroom).

With its blend of cruiser comfort, cutting-edge electronics and V4 performance, the XDiavel V4 is set to carve out a unique niche in India’s high-end motorcycle segment.
