Ducati has launched one of its most exclusive motorcycles ever in India — the Panigale V4 Tricolore, priced at Rs 77 lakh (ex-showroom). This ultra-rare superbike celebrates Italy’s racing heritage with a special Tricolore (green, white and red) livery and a host of premium components that go well beyond the standard Panigale V4.
Limited to just 1,000 units worldwide, only a handful will be allocated to India, making it a highly desirable collector’s motorcycle. Bookings are now open across select Ducati dealerships.
What Makes the Panigale V4 Tricolore Special?
While the engine and chassis remain identical to the regular Panigale V4, Ducati has focused heavily on exclusivity, materials, and detailing to differentiate the Tricolore.
Key Highlights
-
Limited production: 1,000 units globally
-
Numbered steering-head plate and certificate of authenticity
-
Bike number engraved on the ignition key
-
Bespoke TFT startup animation
-
Extensive use of carbon fibre

Engine and Performance
The Tricolore is powered by the same Desmosedici Stradale V4 engine found on the standard Panigale V4.
Engine Specs
-
1,103cc, liquid-cooled V4
-
Power: 216hp
-
Torque: 120.9Nm
-
Six-axis IMU with full electronic rider aids suite
Performance remains blisteringly fast, but the Tricolore gains a small edge thanks to its lighter components.
Premium Hardware and Weight Reduction
Ducati has equipped the Tricolore with some of the finest hardware ever seen on a production motorcycle.
Exclusive Components
-
Carbon-fibre wheels, fenders, swingarm cover, chain guard and exhaust heat shield
-
Massive 338.5mm front brake discs (largest on a production bike)
-
Brembo Hypure calipers with MCS 19.21 master cylinder
-
Dry clutch with open carbon-fibre cover
-
Adjustable billet aluminium footpegs
Thanks to extensive weight-saving measures, the Tricolore tips the scales at 188kg (wet, without fuel) — around 3kg lighter than the Panigale V4 S.
Track-Ready from the Factory
Ducati has ensured that Tricolore owners can take their machines straight to the racetrack.
Included Track Parts
-
Quick-release aluminium fuel cap
-
Brake caliper cooling ducts
-
Mirror and number-plate delete plates
-
Open carbon-fibre clutch cover
Owners can also opt for a custom Ducati jacket, designed specifically to match the Tricolore.
Price and Rivals
At Rs 77 lakh, the Panigale V4 Tricolore costs more than luxury sedans like the BMW 3 Series or Mercedes-Benz C-Class. However, exclusivity is its biggest selling point.
Interestingly, it isn’t the most expensive Ducati on sale in India — that honour belongs to the Ducati Panigale V4 R, priced at Rs 85 lakh.
Final Verdict
The Ducati Panigale V4 Tricolore isn’t meant for everyone. It’s a statement motorcycle, built for collectors who value rarity, craftsmanship and Italian racing heritage as much as outright performance. With extremely limited availability in India, spotting one on the road will be exceptionally rare.
