Brixton Crossfire 500 Storr Unveiled: A New Rival to Honda NX500 & Benelli TRK 502

Brixton Crossfire 500 Storr

Brixton Motorcycles has pulled the wraps off its most ambitious model for India yet – the Crossfire 500 Storr, a 500cc, twin-cylinder adventure tourer that blends rugged design with modern hardware. The bike is expected to debut in December 2025, most likely at India Bike Week (IBW) in Goa, setting the stage for a direct face-off with established names like the Honda NX500 and Benelli TRK 502.

Design & Styling

The Crossfire 500 Storr follows the classic ADV playbook – a tall stance, wide fuel tank, high-mounted windscreen, handguards, and a sturdy luggage rack. A brushed-metal upswept exhaust and tank guard reminiscent of the Royal Enfield Himalayan add to its adventure-ready vibe, while a round headlamp and mirrors inject a touch of retro charm.

It will be offered in two matte paint options:

Engine & Performance

At the heart of the Storr lies a 486cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine, producing 47.6PS and 43Nm, mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The motor is shared with the Crossfire 500 range and delivers performance figures nearly identical to the Honda NX500, which also makes around 47.5PS and 43Nm from its 471cc twin.

Chassis & Hardware

The specs strike a balance between long-distance touring comfort and manageable dynamics for everyday riders.

Features & Technology

The Crossfire 500 Storr is equipped with a TFT instrument console, but unlike rivals, it misses out on smartphone connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation. Still, it packs a comprehensive readout including:

Other highlights include all-LED lighting, auxiliary LED fog lamps, switchable dual-channel ABS, traction control, and even a pair of small tank bags as standard fitment.

Competition & Segment Outlook

The Storr directly competes with the Honda NX500 and Benelli TRK 502, currently the only twin-cylinder ADVs in this segment. However, competition is heating up – BMW Motorrad is readying the F 450 GS, while CFMoto’s 450 MT could also join the Indian market soon.

On the flip side, single-cylinder offerings like the KTM 390 Adventure and Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 sit just a step below, giving buyers multiple adventure-touring choices across price brackets.

Expected Price & Availability

With the new GST structure, pricing is estimated to hover around ₹5.9 lakh (ex-showroom), which could give the Storr a clear advantage by undercutting both the Honda and Benelli. That said, Brixton’s limited dealership footprint in India – currently just nine cities through Motohaus – could be a hurdle. Expanding its sales and service network will be crucial for the Storr to find success in the premium ADV space.

Car Quest Says

The Brixton Crossfire 500 Storr looks like a serious contender in the middleweight ADV segment, combining premium hardware with attractive pricing. If Brixton can back it up with strong aftersales support, it might just emerge as the dark horse against the Honda NX500 and Benelli TRK 502.
