BMW 330Li M Sport 50 Jahre Edition
The long-wheelbase 330Li M Sport has received subtle cosmetic and feature upgrades in its 50 Jahre avatar. The signature kidney grille, rear diffuser, window trim and tailpipes are finished in gloss black, while a unique “1/50” badge on the B-pillar identifies it as a limited-run model. Inside, the cabin gets carbon fibre trim, Vernasca Cognac-and-black leather upholstery, a head-up display and 3D augmented navigation.
Customers can choose from three exterior shades – Mineral White, Skyscraper Grey and M Carbon Black. Power comes from the same 2.0-litre, four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine producing 258hp and 400Nm, paired with an 8-speed automatic gearbox.
BMW M340i 50 Jahre Edition
The sportier M340i also wears its exclusivity with pride. Apart from the “1/50” badging, it features gloss-black M and model insignias, special 50 Jahre emblems on the front, rear and wheel hubcaps, and an exclusive M Performance key fob. On the inside, the sedan gets black Vernasca leather with M highlights.
Buyers can pick from four metallic paint options – Dravit Grey, Black Sapphire, Fire Red Metallic and Arctic Race Blue. As before, the M340i is powered by a 3.0-litre inline-six turbo-petrol motor churning out 374hp and 500Nm, making it the quickest of the 3 Series line-up.
Adding to the sense of occasion, each M340i 50 Jahre Edition comes with a 1:18 scale model of the legendary BMW 3.0 CSL as a collectible.
Exclusivity with a price
Compared to their standard counterparts, the 330Li M Sport 50 Jahre Edition commands a premium of ₹1.4 lakh, while the M340i 50 Jahre Edition is dearer by ₹1 lakh. Given the restricted production run, BMW expects these models to appeal to enthusiasts and collectors who want a unique slice of the 3 Series’ 50-year legacy.
