Bajaj has launched the updated Pulsar NS160 and Pulsar NS200, with the former priced at Rs 1.46 lakh and the latter at Rs 1.55 lakh. This update brings some much-needed changes to the aging NS line-up in the form of refreshed styling and a new LCD dash that brings in Bluetooth connectivity.
The biggest change to the Pulsar NS160 and 200 comes in the form of a new LED headlight; the DRLs surrounding it are now in the shape of a lightning bolt. The NS200 also gets LED illumination all around, with the indicators now being LED units and possibly the same ones seen on the Pulsar N250.
The digital dash is the same one that recently debuted on the refreshed Pulsar N150 and N160 and you can now pair your smartphone to the display to get notification alerts.
Comparison with Competitors
At its new asking price of Rs 1.46 lakh, the Pulsar NS160 goes up against the TVS Apache RTR 160 4V (Rs 1.24 lakh-1.38 lakh) and the Hero Xtreme 160R 4V (Rs 1.27 lakh-1.37 lakh). Meanwhile, the closest competitors to the Pulsar NS200, now priced at Rs 1.55 lakh, are the TVS Apache RTR 200 4V (Rs 1.47 lakh) and the Honda Hornet 2.0 (Rs 1.39 lakh).
