A few weeks after introducing the Bold Editions of the Q3 and Q3 Sportback, Audi has now launched the Q7 Bold Edition in India, priced at ₹97.84 lakh. This new edition is approximately ₹3.3 lakh more expensive than the top-spec Technology trim of the standard Q7, which is priced at ₹94.45 lakh. Although Audi India has announced that the Q7 Bold Edition will be available in limited quantities, the exact number of units has not been disclosed. Here’s a closer look at what sets this edition apart.
What’s New in the Audi Q7 Bold Edition?
The Audi Q7 Bold Edition features a distinctive Black Styling Pack, which includes gloss black finishes on the front grille, wing mirrors, window surrounds, roof rails, and even the Audi logos. Customers can choose from four exterior paint options: Glacier White, Mythos Black, Navarra Blue, and Samurai Grey.
Apart from these cosmetic upgrades, the Bold Edition retains all the standard features of the Technology trim. These include Matrix LED headlamps, a 19-speaker Bang & Olufsen sound system, a panoramic sunroof, 4-zone climate control, ambient lighting, and lane departure warning.
Powertrain Highlights of the Audi Q7 Bold Edition
The Audi Q7 Bold Edition is equipped with a 3.0-litre V6 petrol engine, the same powerhouse found in the larger Q8. This engine produces 340 hp and is mated to an 8-speed automatic gearbox, enabling the SUV to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.6 seconds. The Q7 also features Audi’s renowned Quattro all-wheel-drive system and offers seven drive modes: Auto, Comfort, Dynamic, Efficiency, Off-Road, All-Road, and Individual.
Overall, the Q7 Bold Edition combines enhanced styling with the robust performance and comprehensive features of the standard Q7, making it a compelling choice for luxury SUV enthusiasts.
