Aprilia SR 175 MotoGP Replica Launched at ₹1.23 Lakh

Aprilia SR 175 MotoGP Replica Launched

Aprilia has introduced a new special edition of its sporty scooter lineup – the SR 175 MotoGP Replica – priced at ₹1.23 lakh (ex-showroom, India). This new variant pays tribute to Aprilia’s RS-GP MotoGP machine, drawing design inspiration directly from the brand’s 2025 race bike ridden by Jorge Martin and Marco Bezzecchi.

Racing-Inspired Design

The SR 175 MotoGP Replica stands out with its bold livery. The scooter gets a matte black base complemented by striking red and purple accents, replicating the look of Aprilia’s current RS-GP. A large, diagonal Aprilia logo stretches across the bodywork, while the matte-black footboard and pillion grab rail enhance its sporty presence.

Adding to the race-bred character, the scooter rolls on 14-inch alloy wheels, finished in black with contrasting red highlights on the front rim lip. To complete the effect, Aprilia Racing Team’s sponsor graphics are prominently featured across the body, further strengthening the MotoGP connection.

Same Performance as Standard SR 175

While the MotoGP Replica boasts a striking new visual identity, it remains mechanically identical to the standard SR 175. Power comes from the familiar 174.7cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine, delivering 13.3hp and 14.4Nm of torque. The scooter continues to ride on 14-inch wheels at both ends, maintaining its balance between sporty handling and urban practicality.

Pricing and Positioning

At ₹1.23 lakh, the SR 175 MotoGP Replica costs ₹5,000 more than the standard SR 175 hp-e. Notably, the base model recently received a ₹10,000 price cut following the GST 2.0 revision that came into effect on September 22, making the new edition a slightly more premium but still accessible choice for enthusiasts.

Aimed at Enthusiasts

With its MotoGP-inspired styling, the Aprilia SR 175 MotoGP Replica caters to riders who want their everyday scooter to carry a slice of racetrack flair. It combines the thrill of Aprilia’s racing DNA with the practicality of a city-friendly scooter.
