Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India has introduced the 2025 iteration of the Hornet 2.0, now priced at ₹1,56,953 (ex-showroom, Delhi)—an increase of ₹13,502 over the previous model. This update brings subtle design refinements, enhanced features, and compliance with the latest OBD2B emission norms.
Design Updates
The 2025 Hornet 2.0 receives refreshed graphics and four new color options:
- Pearl Igneous Black
- Radiant Red Metallic
- Athletic Blue Metallic
- Matt Axis Gray Metallic
While the overall styling remains aggressive, these updates lend a fresh appeal to the streetfighter.
Engine & Performance
Powering the bike is the same 184.4cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine, but with slight changes in output due to new emission regulations. It now produces 17PS at 8,500rpm and 15.7Nm at 6,000rpm, a marginal drop from its predecessor (17.2PS and 15.9Nm). The engine is paired with a five-speed gearbox featuring a slip-and-assist clutch for smoother gear shifts.
New Features & Technology
The biggest upgrade is a 4.2-inch TFT instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity via the Honda RoadSync app. This system offers:

The bike retains its 142kg kerb weight, 12-litre fuel tank, 167mm ground clearance, and a 790mm seat height.
Rivals & Competition
The Honda Hornet 2.0 competes against the TVS Apache RTR 200 4V and, in terms of pricing, also faces competition from liquid-cooled streetfighters like the Yamaha MT-15 V2 and Bajaj Pulsar NS200.
